Welcome to Most Dogs Have A Story. I'm Lisa Regan and I am the owner and the groomer of Baybrook and Ruff Cuts since opening in 1995. I am a graduate of The Edwardian School of Dog Grooming in New Canaan, CT. After graduating in 1994 I was offered a job there and then before opening at Baybrook Animal Hospital in Milford, CT. I continued studying at the K-9 Training Center in Newington, CT. I worked on scissoring and finishing skills for Terriers and Poodles. Each year I attend International grooming events and dog shows to keep up to date on grooming trends.
I love all dog breeds but currently own a West Highland Terrier, a Cairn Terrier and two Standard Poodles. I have also owned Maltese, Schnauzers and German Shepherds. I am currently the President of the West Highland White Terrier Society of Connecticut - www.westiesocietyofct.com
In 1995, I opened my grooming business inside Baybrook Animal Hospital and in 2009 I bought Ruff Cuts Grooming in North Branford, CT. I offer full-service dog grooming and groom all breeds.
Your dogs are treated as if they are my own. Their health, comfort, and safety are my priorities. Dogs are never left unattended. We do not use heat to dry them. We try to accommodate special needs upon request. Teaching owners how to maintain their dog is important and we discuss this at appointments.
